The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday quashed the writ petition filed against President Dr Ram Baran Yadav’s move on the Army chief row during the Maoist-led government a year and half ago.

A full bench of SC judges Tap Bahadur Magar, Prem Sharma and Mohan Prasad Sitaula had invalidated the writ petition in its verdict, stating that the issue has lost its relevance.
